Team Profile

Our 'Heat Pipe Manufacturing Technology and Application Team' focus on the major needs of the design and manufacturing technology of the thermal control system of microelectronics/optoelectronics/power electronic devices. We have carried out in-depth cooperation with Professor Li Yong's team from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering of South China University of Technology to strengthen the research on basic theory, core process and key equipment, in order to solve the technical development problems of new products such as heat pipe and its application system from the root. We have already formed an innovative research group with the coordinated development of the industry, universities and research institutes, bringing new impetus to the industrial development in the design of new products of heat pipes and soaking plates, the development of efficient production processes, and the research of automatic equipment, and covering the whole process of 'R&D-Application-Marketing'.

Serving as a reviewer for 'Applied Thermal Engineering', 'International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer', 'Energy Conversion and Management' and other international journals.

● Fields of Interest

Prof. Yong Li carries out wide-ranging researches of manufacturing system design and heat transfer. His research areas cover manufacturing systems design and heat transfer enhancement, efficient cooling technology (Power electronics thermal management, Battery thermal management). His current major cutting edge researches include ultra-thin heat pipe and micro heat pipe manufacturing and their applications.
